X`terrania Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 especially when you use them all day. i have a very strong sense of smell tho, i can pick out what people are cooking from houses away
darkhosis Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Some of that stuff does sell OK on eBay. I had a pristine copy of BattleTech: Crescent Hawk's Inception that I sold for over 60 bucks a few years ago. I just checked and one sold recently for $6, I guess you just have to get lucky (or not be dumb and set a good minimum price)... some ppl want these old games and if you get two bidders at once you might get a good price for them since they're rarely up there in good condition (with all box stuff included). I think the new "stores" get a lot of the business tho.. like right now there is some copy up for $70 from "Vintage Games Treasury". Some collector of BattleTech memorabilia or such would probably have enough cash just to jack that !@#$%^&* up and not wait for some auction. Some other stuff will sell for a lot too, like original copies of Ultima I, II, etc. the first Subspace crack said "Thanks to Darkhosis" on it when you ran it haha (this was like days after it came out).. i was so scared I was going to get banned. I never bought the game myself wasnt old enough to have available money back then and no parents to provide

Drake7707 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 this remembers me of those old boxes of video games from the early 90's my dad bought (usually pinballs ). People actually bought games back then . Also the smell of a brand new electronic equipment straight from the box smells very good ^^', whether it's the eq that makes it smell good or the fact that you finally have it, that i don't know
Sass Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 S!@#$%^&*, it's easy to say you can duplicate anything to look exactly like the original version, but pragmatically speaking, are you or someone else, who does not have access to the original box-graphics and a factory in America, able to do it? No. Your argument sucks as always. Love, Ophie Man ophie, ease up on the power ade! FoxNews Power Drink Your reply sucks as always! PS. I'll send you the duplicate you ordered C.O.D. No refunds!
Incomplete Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I don't see the fun in having it. If I had one I would just throw it away. Means nothing to me.
»Purge Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 it's more of a collector's item now. why would you throw it out? eBay.
Incomplete Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Because it just doesn't seem to be worth the trouble.
»Purge Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 you'd rather throw it out than make some side money? someone is ought to buy it sometime.
Incomplete Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Well I doubt it would go for much money, I just wouldn't be bothered trying to sell a game that may take a while to sell for little money, also checking ebay everyday would get annoying.
Sass Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 i'd pay $25 for an original boxed CD in excellent condition.
Guest Did Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 YOU COULD BUY SOME McDONALDS WITH THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU MUST BE INSANE NOT TO TAKE IT?
darkhosis Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 yah, more trouble than it's worth really, unless you have a whole bunch of small !@#$%^&* to sell on there at once.. well, i guess even that would be annoying nowadays.. since everyone expects buy-it-nows and instant shipping...
Sass Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 It wouldn't make sense to buy it from someone overseas as it would most likely be excessively overpriced and too costly to ship.
rootbear75 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Well I doubt it would go for much money, I just wouldn't be bothered trying to sell a game that may take a while to sell for little money, also checking ebay everyday would get annoying.they email you every time your thing gets a bid or when it sells.. you dont have to check it every day
Incomplete Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Then you would have to check your emails all the time. Which is just as annoying being spammed by ebay.
rootbear75 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) Then you would have to check your emails all the time. Which is just as annoying being spammed by ebay.they dont spam you as much as you think they do....i usually only get messages if one of the buyers message me.and they only send you bid information at the end of the day if you havent checked it, and its been updated. stuff im selling: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?s...p=32&fsoo=2 Edited April 27, 2008 by rootbear75
