Incomplete Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 Yeah I could probably do 10 miles each way every now and then. But doing it everyday would probably kill me -Lucozade kentbrockm> what is team tournament?pernille> like 2v2 kentkentbrockm> ahkentbrockm> wanna be my partner, pern?pernille> lolpernille> i suckkentbrockm> good habbit for a gal your age.Autofire> lolExplody Th> Omg kent------------------------------------------------------Incomplete> ?find MikeTheNoseMikeTheNose is in SSCC Metal Gear CTF------------------------------------------------------MikeTheNose> ?find IncompleteNot online, last seen more than 10 days ago My Profile
★ Dav Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 probably, though doing 20 miles less in your car will save you some fuel and get you fit so it is all worth it. SSCC Desert Storm OwnerSSforum Admin
★ Dav Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 You heard about the guys riding London with helmet cameras? Seems to be getting a lot of attention now as they are being used as evidence against dangerous drivers. SSCC Desert Storm OwnerSSforum Admin
No_Remorse Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 "Gas prices are so high" That's for !@#$%^&*in' sure. Women are like Elephants. I like to watch them, but I wouldn't want to own one.
🜲 Samapico Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 You heard about the guys riding London with helmet cameras? Seems to be getting a lot of attention now as they are being used as evidence against dangerous drivers.Just youtubed some... seen a couple of vids of a guy riding a s!@#$%^&* or something in the traffic and basically ride between the car lanes... And some comments were saying that this is perfectly legal... is it really legal down there (UK) ? Here we can do that with bicycles... but not with anything that has an engine. Even with a bicycle, you shouldn't zigzag around traffic and should only go between 2 lanes if you need to at an intersection (i.e. right lane turns right, you need to go straight) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/88/Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg/120px-Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg.pngDCME co-developerSSCU 17th Parallel sysop
★ Dav Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 it is legal in the UK, some areas have special lanes down the middle of traffic but its usually accepted to p!@#$%^&* traffic on the left. zigzaging is fround upon but not illegal as far as i know. SSCC Desert Storm OwnerSSforum Admin
Hoch Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 I have not seen these chaps on the road but it doesnot surprise me. zigzaging is fround upon but not illegal as far as i know.Strictly speaking' date=' a person zigzagging in and out oftraffic would fall foul of section 3 of the Road TrafficAct 1988. At least I think it is section 3. Anyway, itcould be viewed as careless and inconsiderate driving.Depending on the facts, the same could equally applyto a cyclist. In any event, it's just plain stupid [img']http://www.ssforum.net/public/style_emoticons/default/blum.gif[/img] -Hoch
★ Dav Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 thanks for the info I personally see very few people sig zagging though, usually people just passing traffic in the more appropriate places (which in many cases is right down the middle, coming up to roundabouts where I am the cycle lane is actually down the middle of the 2 lanes of cars) but you willalways get the idiots...
