Sharpflame Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 I tried using it's proxy feature. It now doesn't work. I uninstalled, and installed again. Doesn't work. I uninstalled. Deleted the current Continuum folder (I still have a backup), reinstalled. Doesn't work. Uninstalled anti-virus. Restarted computer. Tried disabling the themes. Doesn't work. So, this means that when proxy options are used... it just stops working alltogether. Whatever then. Who knows how to fix this?
Hakaku Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 Open Continuum, select "Proxy Options" and uncheck the part that says "Enable SOCKS5 Proxy Server". If you can't open Continuum's main interface at all, you'll have to provide more details about your specs then that.
Sharpflame Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 (edited) No, Continuum doesn't even show up. All I get is the window's size, which it then freezes. EDIT: I let the client load and load and load, and finally it gave me an error, afterwards I could go back to proxy config and turn it off. Edited April 18, 2008 by Sharpflame
Tempest333 Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 I have a similar problem. I recently installed updated drivers for my radeon 9600 series graphics and also updated my .dot network to 2.0. Then I defragmented my drives. I set my resolution to 1280x800x32 for windowsXPpro and loaded continuum, then set it's resolution to the same (1280x800x32). I get green ping reports from all my servers (30 for Powerball) and when I click the play button the continuum window moves to the flying stars pattern of loading a zone but there it stops with no action unless I open task manager and select it; that is when it give me an error unable to connect to zone. I have my continuum set up for full screen and tried to change both windows and continuum graphics settings differently, also tried different resolutions for windowed setting. And YES I tried to uninstall continuum and reinstall it. What should I do? Temp
rootbear75 Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 (edited) change bit depth to 8bit (in game) Edited April 19, 2008 by rootbear75
