Drake7707 Posted April 14, 2008 Author Report Posted April 14, 2008 oops heh, forgot to check if a midi was loaded or not I made it initially to add effects to notes like animusic but in 2D or something, but afterwards i realized with some proper code i could make a neat multi track step (it steps on the tracks you have not muted) so it's very easy to see (and hear!) both hands played on piano, which is easier for me to learn to play it on my piano that in guitar pro Ahh the knowledge of programming can be useful sometimes

Samapico Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 the day i start using linux is the day !@#$%^&* froze over. It's windowblinds Dogmax v3 skinI'm back from an exam in a class called Operating Systems (and stuff)... we basically did some crappy Bash and Nawk programming on Linux... and... GOD DOES IT SUCK SO BADI hope I never have to use Linux EVER AGAIN command interpreters r teh suck
»D1st0rt Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 yes, Linux was definitely designed to be a big hit with the Visual Basic crowd
Samapico Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 yes, Linux was definitely designed to be a big hit with the Visual Basic crowd VB is probably my least favorite language now I'd do C++ or C# over VB anytime now. seriously, have you coded in Bash? there are some syntax issues in there that are impossible to understand... We had this line of code, it was a 'if'... it was the exact same line as somewhere else in the code, and it was causing a syntax error, and we tried different things with it during like 10-15 minutes, then we just put it back EXACTLY the way it was, and it worked... (without changing anything else elsewhere)
Drake7707 Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 sounds pretty much like rexx on mainframes then >.>
Dr Brain Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 I misread the topic and thought it said mind control. I had such high hopes
