»Lynx Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Well, other than the huge ear on my forehead, I'm pretty normal.
rootbear75 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 you're meeting DBZ people? I can give you guys a tour of the city if you guys aren't weird or anything. more the merrier it just happened to be DBZ people lol
Samapico Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Usually, if I drive 4+ hours, I need a good reason to do so... so far, these reasons have been: Megadeth show in Boston, and Immortal show in New York City... I wouldn't go that far to meet people even more geeky than me (not aiming at anyone personnaly lol) I'd even be ashamed to explain my friends the reason of my trip lol: "I'm gonna meet some e-friends lulz"
The Apache Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 stop saying you are a DBZ person rootbeer, you only claim yourself to be that because you staffed there for like a few months, did jack!@#$%^&*, got fired and started begging for your power back.face it, you only came to the zone what... last year in nov/dec? you don't even know the actual "DBZ people" kthx. meh, i don't reckon this convention thing would work out... seriously, i don't think people are going to travel state-to-state country-to-country just for a little gathering lol.

Lol, I noticed that all the staffing positions he has on his wiki-user are all the jobs he's been fired from, or forced to leave (no one in halo liked him). Not sure about DBZ though.

Incomplete Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Friend done that. Went to NY with an empty suitcase and came back with a full suitcase full of clothes.
»Purge Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 if you want good clothes, they won't be cheap. right now the top clothing lines in NYC are American Eagle, Hollister, and Abercrombie. some are pretty expensive, but worth it. the Hollister colognes are the best.
»Purge Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 what's a trainer? if you want bargains you can check out the Manhattan Mall or Rockefeller Plaza or around the Times Square shopping district. I personally shop around the Bronx at JCPenney, Macy's, etc.
»Lynx Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Bronx? Isn't that area the kinda area a white English man would get robbed by a 6"7 angry basketball player?
»Purge Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Bronx? Isn't that area the kinda area a white English man would get robbed by a 6"7 angry basketball player?yes, but clothes are cheap there. worth the "risk" even though there's not much of a risk for me.

I've heard that the Bronx had changed quite a lot in the last years... it's now much safer, apparently. I stayed in Manhattan when I went to New York, though, so I can't tell...
