★ Lynx Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 Firstly, open your editor (I used Adobe Fireworks CS3). Create a new file which is 304x160 (tileset size) - and select "View -> Grid -> Edit Grid" - And set the grid to 16x16. Then, get the horizontal and vertical tiles which you have previously created, and place them as if they're about to be connected with a corner tile. We are about to create the diagonal tile. Then, create lines which join from the bottom of the horizontal tile, to the far right, or far left of the vertical tile. In the image below, I have set it to the far right. Once you have done this, simply select the colours palette and hit the colour dropper to the vertical or horizontal corresponding tile. I have shown this motion half way through in the below screen shot. Once you have completely created the diagonal tile, copy it, and flip it horizontally, then place it next to the tile you first copied, then highlight both tiles and flip them vertically. You should end up with something like this. This method should work with pretty much any editor, however there are more complicated ways of doing this, but... meh.. what's the point? The End. <3
