Sorry for bringing this back up, but I couldn't help it since there was an incident that happened not too long ago in continuum with SIT.

 

I basically witnessed a "courtroom" setting where a select number of players basically "judged" another player. It was suspenseful, to say the least.

 

I lol'ed probably 10-15 times while reading through the posts in this thread. I didn't realize it was actually this "serious", relatively speaking. Some of the posts are hilarious.

What is subspace coming to? It really is quite sad, in general, the conduct of the community for bashing these "13" year old kids for trying to make a difference, really even if they aren't 13, they still are trying to do something for a game they like. I think it's time some of yous grow up and stop trolling these forums, half of you don't leave spec and play anymore, half of you just cause more trouble. What do you think new players see when they come to the forums here? Only to see the constant !@#$%^&* that goes on daily here, no wonder the turnover rates are so high for new players. You all bashed PriitK for lack of updates, I don't blame him, its a waste of time. This is the first time I actually stopped by SSForum, and it reminds me a bit why I stopped.

Bash me all you want, in the end its just a game and sooner or later I hope you realize. I had fun when I played, if and when the game dies, at least let it end with some dignity.

Yeah, we should all shut up, and love the game for what it is. A 2D spaceship shooter... That's died, the only reason this game survives is the chat function - and the conflicts.

I rather doubt you know the details of the entire situation. In fact, since part of the situation involved the SWE staff chat, there's no way you could know the entire situation.

I fail to see why I should need to know the entire situation. I have the private log between TJ and Keira, and TJ was just annoying her. He wasn't doing anything too far like...

There's a really neat little function in the game that people use when they can't handle the conversation - it's ?ignore.

 

As nobody changed their alias, she could have ignored everybody and been a true SIT .. thingey.. but I guess that she had too much pride for that, she had to go on a power trip.

Sadly when I am in a situation where I am directly affiliated with a zone. In this case SWE, I do have to act different. If I am pmed for help I could help you there.

 

What is really sad is cre> asked me if he could join SIT not too far back. Sadly he thinks he will follow the group and be "cool" to go around and harr!@#$%^&* people. Thus I did not want to join ssdev I was already a member (aquarius put me in) and cre> a new leader got power hungry (being the new "leader") and came in the zone and asked me to post the image.

 

I said no, the fact of the matter is after I said no, cre> said Oh we arnt asking you to post the image... We are asking you to type it up and post it in the forums. After they were warned, they kept pming and pressing the issue. The rest is between me and the SWE staff. But dont go around bashing a group that you were still a member of. K?
