Hm.. Video card error.

Do you have Vista drivers for your video card installed on your PC? Do you have DirectDraw enabled? (Start - Run - dxdiag - Display) Is your card even Vista compatible?

do this:

WINDOWSKEY + R -> dxdiag

do the tests, and tell us if there are any errors

EDIT: whoops, sorry, didnt read all of shock's reply. but ya, do the tests on that page.

Make sure you're using the same color depth and resolution as your desktop (or the closest to it).

Does this happen in all zones? (if not, which ones?) Have you tried restarting your computer? Since when has this problem been occurring?

Definitely Vista compatible..

HMM..

It's hard to tell with Vista; it could be anything. Might I suggest disabling UAC and trying it. I doubt that's what it is, but UAC is annoying anyway.

Start - Run - msconfig - Tools - Disable UAC - Launch.

Start - Control Panel - Classic View - Security Center - Change the way Security Center alerts me - No alerts, don't show icon in system tray.

Reboot, re-install, try again.

I wish you luck, sir. blum.gif
