Shock Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Hm.. Video card error. Do you have Vista drivers for your video card installed on your PC? Do you have DirectDraw enabled? (Start - Run - dxdiag - Display) Is your card even Vista compatible?
rootbear75 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 (edited) do this: WINDOWSKEY + R -> dxdiag do the tests, and tell us if there are any errors EDIT: whoops, sorry, didnt read all of shock's reply. but ya, do the tests on that page. Edited April 1, 2008 by rootbear75
Hakaku Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Make sure you're using the same color depth and resolution as your desktop (or the closest to it). Does this happen in all zones? (if not, which ones?) Have you tried restarting your computer? Since when has this problem been occurring?

Samapico Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 use the search box; typing dxdiag in there should work

Shock Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I didn't know about Windows + R until I used Vista. I sat there for about 10 minutes trying to find Run, lol.

desert op Posted April 1, 2008 Author Report Posted April 1, 2008 Hm.. Video card error. Do you have Vista drivers for your video card installed on your PC? Do you have DirectDraw enabled? (Start - Run - dxdiag - Display) Is your card even Vista compatible? Yes its enabled, also it says no problems found.
desert op Posted April 1, 2008 Author Report Posted April 1, 2008 If that is the same thing as a graphics card i have a Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
Shock Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Definitely Vista compatible.. HMM.. It's hard to tell with Vista; it could be anything. Might I suggest disabling UAC and trying it. I doubt that's what it is, but UAC is annoying anyway. Start - Run - msconfig - Tools - Disable UAC - Launch. Start - Control Panel - Classic View - Security Center - Change the way Security Center alerts me - No alerts, don't show icon in system tray. Reboot, re-install, try again. I wish you luck, sir.
