CRe Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 So you want to make your own wiki page? Well you have come to the right place! Here are some steps and tips: 1) Decide a !@#$%^&*le. A !@#$%^&*le should be something that tells people what your wiki page will be about. A !@#$%^&*le should also be short. Something that is over 15 words is a bit too much. 2) Now that you have your !@#$%^&*le decided we can proceed to the next step which is to actually begin the page. Well in your browser type http://wiki.ssforum.net/index.php/your!...#036;%^&*le. 3) Editing the page. On your page that you have now you should see the word "Edit" on a tab. Click on it and you will see a text box which you can begin editing in. -First thing you should do from here is categorize your page. To categorize your page add [[Category:CategoryName]]. An example would be [[Category:Players]]. Try to use an existing category. -To make a secondary heading just add ==Name== -To bold something use '''BoldText''' -To italicize something use ''ItalicText'' -To link to something that is on the wiki just do [[Pagename]] -To link to something outside the wiki just do [http://www.example.com link !@#$%^&*le] -To add an image do [[image:Example.jpg]] -To add a file link [[Media:Example.ogg]] -To add a mathematical formula Insert formula here -If you need to add ''' or another wiki format in to your text you use Insert non-formatted text here -If you want to add your name with the time you added it use --~~~~ -To add a horizontal line use ---- The Information above is the old way to do it.
