Shock Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) Does the disc still work? Disc read errors in 360's are mostly related to the 360's laser, not the disc. If that was your problem, I suggest you get a lens cleaning CD and run it through your system. It doesn't make sense that the place you rented from would charge you for the game if it still works. Shock Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) It could just be your system dude. I've never heard of an Xbox 360 scratching a CD to a point where it doesn't work anymore. I highly doubt they take each returned game and put it into a system to see if it works. It probably won't catch back up with you unless someone else has problems with the same disc, in which they trace it back to you.. but you could claim it worked fine for you and the person currently having problems with it is the person that damaged it.
