Look, everytime I connect the internet I look on SS and see 500ms+ to every server. When I ping in CMD I get 210ms to DSB (US) and 150ms TW,SVS etc (Euro). I also used pcpitstop for pings and they look all okay, I even tried Counter Strike - Source but SS is the only client that shows high pings.

well, no, those theplanet servers are like that for everyone, but, it doesnt afffect ur lag.

the problem i see, is it lies with your ISP.

hop #3 is where your packetloss is occuring, and hop #5 is where ur inflated ping times are also occuring, which all lie in your ISP's routers.

 

the best thing to do is contact them. otherwise, we cant do anything to help you

 

also, could you do us a favor, and do that trace over again, this time with 70-100 cycles?
