why have i seen like 5 or 6 topics !@#$%^&*led "Shock" or something....

ya, theres no packetloss on there, or even bad ping times... that connection's good... and whats ur problem anyways... all you did was post a trace

He told me in game he was lagging and had a trace and it was either email or SSF, so SSF is easier. blum.gif

As for the problem... He keeps getting specced in HZ with ping fluctuation of 26 over the limit of 25, but that happens a lot. It doesn't appear to be anything he can fix.

From the traces, it seems the ping fluxuation is far higher than just 26ms. What I'd like to know is if he's using a wireless connection? Or has any other programs open while he's playing Continuum?

On any account, it may not be something we can resolve. You might want to post this and ask about it on Hockey/Football Zone's forums.

I close all programs so i can play HZ, i can't even listen to music in WMP without lagging out. i think it may be the wireless connection's fault. Yeah i think HZ needs to adjust lag limit. Should i buy a better router perhaps?

wireless = unstable

If by "fluctuations" the server only compares high with low, then a limit of 25 is really ridiculous... And this is for pub??? seriously... HZ people, loosen up a bit.

Someone who has a lag "fluctuating" between 10 and 50 should be kept in spec, but someone at a steady 200 is kept in? I don't see the logic, really.. I don't see how the fluctuations can have any effect.

Anyway... if you can plug yourself directly on your router instead of being wireless, it could probably help a bit.
