If Unix loses money, you can bet anyone who rushes loses money....

 

I'm thinking that pure rushing is not going to make the cut for people who desire cash. A mixture of spamming and rushing is what I'm going for. At what ship can achieve that better than the Shark? =D

 

Low profile, high energy (if you try anyway), solid bullet and bomb rates...if I had the EXP...(I'll get there soon...)

 

Oops back to the point, which is rushing. I really thought part of HS's style was its item spamming. In fact, games were a lot more fair to the attackers back then. Just keep thors and bricks finite and we'll be fine. Thats what I think anyway.

If you break even, what's the point in playing? Why play without progress.. forget that.

I lose money.

Rushing without the use of specials? GL doing anything or getting kills.

Loose money of course. Thats why after like 10-20min in a 20vs20 game, the attacking team is left with a couple people left cause they all give up. Something needs to be changed, such as making repel/burst cost way less. If you break it down, it takes like 120$ each time you rush.

I get kills just fine. I also don't lose any money that way.

That'd make it easier to defend as well.

 

I think the best solution to our current basing problem is a better server and bigger/shorter bases.

The whole idea of rushing is not to make money, but to take the base. Bases are just too strong defensively at the moment, and good rushing ships are too few.

I'd say, in the short run, you would lose money because I doubt you would kill the # of people needed to repay the cost of repels.

In the long run, especially if you killed all the lancs doing it, you may end up getting the flags and scoring a lot of money.

 

Edit: Maybe if you had bounty, it might repay it but it's a suicide mission and you would lose your bounty, which I don't think you would want to do.

The people who "rush" with guns only get one kill and die on average. That's not a good rush in any definition. You need to use items to have a successful rush, at least now anyways.

I usully hang around long enough after respawn to make whatever money I know I will lose by rushing, then rep, rep, rep, burst.

 

All I usually have to do is wait a second and Ive already made the $100 bucks back that I will most likely lose rushing, and dying.

If you kill you get money period. We dont need to have money subtracted because u rush. The kill is fair. If you buy a defense mount u might be able to stop the rushing. Items make it hard for rushers.
