Server files that actually work?

Ive been away from SS for many years but have recently wandered back to the old game and

im surprized that after all this time therte isnt a server setup you can download/setup/run without

pulling your hair out,

 

Im no rocket scientist but im close and still im cant seem to get a server up and working to

mess around with all the old server.cfg/maps and custon tilesets from back in early days

when we first started tinkering with the settings and really having some dam good times playing

and chating.

 

Help a brother out i just need help to get a server up so i can start going thru all my old files to find the good

ones to get started,

www.shanky.com/server Has a guide on how to configure the server. It's quite simple and shouldn't take you longer than 10 minutes.

They were talking about making a new server package some time ago... dunno if they ever did. The default directory servers are outdated :/
