Any chance we can increase team limits to 50v50 instead of 20v20? It ruins pub when it's 20v20, anyone who comes in is put onto freq 2, and freq 2 flanks the attacking team. It just ruins pub.

 

I heard people say it was a test to see if that was the reason why the zone disconnects, well it still disconnects, so can we change it to sometihng higher?

setting freq size to over 20 wouldn't directly cause the zone to disconnect, other than allowing for more ppl to play possbily adding more strain and possibly then causing a crash (not likely, but can't say for sure).

 

Increasing the freq size would be a key improvement...

Chaos or not, the fact is people wnat to base and because of the team limit, people CANT.

 

Earlier there were at least ten people waiting to get onto one of the two teams, otherwise they would be put on freq 2, doing nothing, and if they wanted to base, they would just be flanking, which ruins the basing game.

 

Who cares if it's chaotic, last I checked, people liked that?

they have to make bigger bases to have the any idea of making freqs bigger first....and they need to fix bls where the attacking freq is at forever...once those 2 happen then make bigger freqs

More team members = More thors = Less bline possibilities since thors are hitting them more often

 

I doubt they'll be bigger, other than in tunnels, seeing as how the bases have to fit in the sectors.

 

 

---------------UPDATE----------------

 

Right now in pub it's 20v20v7 - With at least 10 people in spec waiting to get into one of the 20v20 teams.

 

So if I did my math right it's like 29v28 if pub limits were raised

It's true, we need more than 20 people per pub. We dont want to have a 3 pub freq trying to flank the other team, it'll just ruin the game. and even if we ask to get on right freq, we cant :( It would be good if it's like 40 people per freq blum.gif

It should be lowered to like 10 ppl per freq and the bases should be made smaller w/ larger tunnels.

Nice suggestion, best one ever. I would love smaller bases with larger tunnels. To top it off, we need only 10 ppl per freq.

^^^holy crap ;) . If the limit changes to 10 with the current pop, there would be like 4-5 freqs... that would be....irritating.

I'm kinda on unix's side here; I like larger freq sizes.

 

Anyone want to tell me why the cap hasn't been raised/lifted yet?

Dr Brain hasn't looked at this thread yet would be my guess (or he just hasn't replied yet)

Perhaps another solution would be putting multiple entrances to a base...? that way freq 2 could do more than flank...

 

Or there could be an arena-splitter :(

Thats why the bases would be made much smaller, so you wouldnt get flanked as you spend 20 minutes pushing the defending team back to flag room.

Btw, I forgot to add the sarcasm tag to my last post james =/

 

Sure it takes skills if its 1 freq vs another freq without any interruptions. But that wont happen with our pop size, freqs will just keep flanking each other while defending freq sits there.

 

Remember: with the current ammo system in place, its not really about who has more skills. Its about who has more money to throw at the other freq since who ever has more money = whoever can buy more reps/thors/burst/fields. It made have worked before the new ammo system was in place but it sure wont work in !@#$%^&* with the current layout.
