Making a good wb

This is my guide for making a wb setup. Blue = Item info

 

Ok heres my setup:

As you see i have beam array. Beam array is a good wep, even though its a multifire lvl1 gun. It cost only like 10 energy to shoot it. It's a lot easyer to kill people with it because you can just spam it around and not lose energy.

Next you see I have power strip. Power strip is an addon that gives you a little more energy and recharge. I like to use it because I like to wast energy and recharge fast.

Next you see i have Maneuvering Fins. Maneuvering Fins is an addon that gives my wb more effective turning and braking. It helps a lot when i'm in a 2v1 battle.

Next you see I have Compression Core. I use compression core as my reactor plant because I like to have both energy and reacharge.

Ion drive - I use ion drive as my sublight drive because it doesn't cost to much and it has good speed/thrust. And with Maneuvering Fins its good.

And then you see G-Ammo and B-Ammo. G-ammo means your gun ammo and B-ammo means bomb ammo. The numbers next to G-ammo and B-ammo will go up when you buy them. To buy then do ?Buy gun ammo or ?Buy bomb ammo.I stock up on my ammo because i don't want to run out of it when i'm in a battle, So buy ammo for your guns and bombs OFTEN!

Sorry, but no. Only thing I see fit there is the compression core, and fins, maybe power strip if it suits you. Ion drive is ok for starting off, but omega is way better, yes it uses you signature, but its well more worth it. Beam array is only good for basing, and if you wanna base with a 1k energy 2x2 ship than fine with me... pulse would fit way better. Also don't forget the mounts of which are debatable. I use 2 defense mounts. Energy scanner is a must have, especially with a warbird.

 

1 More thing... Why did you put the ammo you have?lol

 

Note : I just looked a bit more into your guide, as it really seems more for the newer types, maybe a signature or something would be too much to start off... (answeres why you put the ammo too)

In conclusion, once you hit 10,000 exp, you will have a good warbird

the new items: Naquadah Gen., Power Strip, Glow Cover, makes a good combo, The Glow cover gives good gun armor and almost nullifies the extra bomb dmg of Naqua, the power strip cancels out the drawbacks of Glow cover.
