but VA didn't record that information = no system was in place to ensure that psycho people don't get guns, which means there needs to be stricter gun laws.

 

i know it sounds bad, but there is gonna be another one of these shootings at another university/college.

If you're going to wish guns away from bad people, why don't you wish hamburgers away from fat people, alcohol away from alcoholics, and cats away from mice while you're at it. I wish I had a puppy because then the world would be so huggable.

i still think it's way too easy for people to get guns. sometimes, mental illness shows up in the most unexpected people. and by arming american's with guns, you're maximizing the chance that a gun can end up in the the wrong hands. as i recall, VA is one of those states with less strict to no effective gun law, but regardless, unless the whole country is on the same page, random shootings like this is gonna repeat itself.

 

and Sama, there were some similar incidents in Canada, but they weren't as bad as the ones in America. and the week of the NIU massacre, there were 3 other school shootings.

 

they also said that the two gunmen bought guns from the same place... so how was the loophole fixed?

if you require all uni's to screen any students that might be observed to be mentally unstable, none of this would have happened.

 

The VT shootings were actually partially blamed on the uni cause they refused to do anything.
