Well... i was bored, so i entered major cities close to the four corners of the nation

Takes 5 days, 6 hours of straight driving to make it.... (with tolls and no traffic)

well... if you decide to take the scenic route, you're going to have to add an additional 3 days....

now in terms of gas used, i get about 300 miles per tank (highway), and about $30/tank

so.... about 28.2 tanks of gas costing about $846.00

thats for the highways...

if i did the scenic route it would be 29.8467 tanks costing me just a little more at about $895.40

now im using my car's highway mileage for this.. i suspect it would be a few more thanks on the scenic route... :D

You ever considering doing this? I certainly want to some time, though I'd probably want to make it a tour of North America, and take at least a couple months doing it. I did 3000 miles up and down the western coast of the US in 2006 with some friends (essential with the cost of gasoline). We took 11 days for it and saw a lot, but it was a breakneck pace. The four of us did the whole trip on ~$800 for everything, of which $335 was for gasoline.

do you go to Kings College, Sama?

What's your connection? o_o

one of my friends studies at Kings College and stops by Cambridge time to time.

she's there until June, though (studying abroad from USA).

Ah, that's cool. I was interested because I'm currently studying in Cambridge myself (not Kings College, but a stone's throw away).
