Valentine's Day

Every year on February 14th, I see all these couples together and i start wondering, "What's the point of Valentine's Day?"

 

The only thing that I can think of is it's a marketing ploy by the major candy makers and florists to sell chocolates and flowers...

Then comes another problem: all the single guys out there.

 

This is the only holiday that depresses me every year.... I don't know why, but it does. I mean, why can't they make a single's holiday for those single guys and gals to celebrate?

Actually read this yesterday. Comes from Saint Valentine who was... in jail or dieing or somethign and the last thing he did was leave stuff for his wife or lover blah blah blah.

I really wish Valentines Day in America is like how it is in Japan.....where the girls give guys chocolate/stuff. But then again, that might be even worst......all the people around you get chocolates and you dont.

 

The Japanese also has something called White Day (I think) where the guys give chocolates.

None of the girls I gave em to I'd never hook up w/ anyways. Kept the akwardness down, cause I did that one time, and she took it the wrong way.

 

Mostly girls at work, or 1 time even the cashier who rang em up for me, cause she said she wished her husband was still around to do sweet things for her.

 

And $15 gets ya a dozen roses, so not like you're having to strain or dig through your wallet for them.

 

This year was probably the most I've ever spent on a girl on valentines day, but seeing as this might be the girl I marry, worth it (yes swift, I said it, stfu now).

anyway, i dont care about Valentine day. I wasnt suposed to work tonight, and switched with someone who wanted the night off, then switched with someone who wanted to end work early to go see her bf For me its just a night like all the other.

My girl managed to get inside my building at work (she dosent have a badge) and brought in a green frog and three huge balloons one balloon plays a song anohter plays a customer message from her that says she loves me.

 

the sweetest thing that has ever happened to me on any day.

 

 

I did get her a diamond Necklace though. Currently she is wearing ~8 carats of high quality diamonds on her body total.
