I don't like this new system. I'm on the lowest freq with over 3/4 the players trying to kill me.

Could you switch it back to the 2-frequency game like before the reset?

 

Edit: And other freqs steal my kills and I don't get a reward. I actually bothered to post this because it happens too much to me.

 

Total Revision:

1. Item system stinks. Limited ammo is really annoying, and like what dan says, its not really customizable unless you have lots (and by lots I mean TONS) of money and exp. And really, how can a pea shooter blow up a ship?

2. Ships cost too little. Lancs should be the most costly because they are the most important to flagging, which is the point of the zone. Now a lanc is the third ship anyone can get. And horrible starting energy on WB.

3. M!@#$%^&* mayhem in the center. You cant go anywhere without getting killed.

 

I really hope Hyperspace returns to the way it was before this reset. :angry: (if there was a smiley with a little sign that said RIOT! then I would put it here ;) )

2 for all of the above, but note that some Capacity items cost 2 Capacity slots.

 

Sorry guys, I had a nice little guide ready to explain all of this stuff, but it escaped being backed up when I moved computers..I'll see if I can write something up quickly today or something.

nice work, now i can really customize my lanc, and flagging seems more fair(as soon as more people get reps/thors/bursts etc.)

 

Now a lanc is the third ship anyone can get. And horrible starting energy on WB.

most ships have less stats btw, and lanc can be the 2nd ship people can get

Why does killing someone only give 5 bty now? Is this to try to slow down HS's economy?

 

Edit: Also, maybe increase the turret limit by 1, so we have have a priv of 6 people, 5 turrets on 1 lanc.

Has anyone else noticed bounty dropping at strange increments? Maybe I'm missing something but when I was flying around in the middle of battle I noticed my bounty drop from like 15 to 14 (I'm a high roller baby) and sometimes I'm getting killed on 9 bty. Does it have anything to do with burning up ammo packs / is that normal under the new system?

 

I miss my old ships and whatnot but at least I get a chance to race from the same starting point as the rest of the players in the zone so I'm happy with the reset even if things are going to be a bit crazy for a while. Looking forward to the Oracle System :D

I prefer that we can buy it outside supply depots and wat not but at an increase price for "transportation" cost. But then again, it wont happen lol

 

Problem I see with greens is that ppl can tk each other for greens to refill their ammo.

The reason for the drop in bounty, I believe, is because HS is now using a setting called something like "NearDeathExperience." When you reach around 1/10 of your energy or lower, it is counted as a "Near Death Experience" and your bounty is decreased by 1. There will also be a small red flare that appears beside your ship.

 

One useful purpose of this is so you can tell when you've almost killed someone, even without Energy Scanner.
