»Lynx Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 They're idiots. They're going to lose far more traffic by moving to nobody sites, than to stay on E-Bay - they will also be likely to lose more money by striking for such a long time. Out of the millions of people who actually use E-Bay, I don't think that this will effect them at all. After all, their video has only had 24K views, and in their first week have only received 700 e-mails - and as strikes go, especially strikes where the striker is losing money, it's hard to say how many people are going to actually be serious about this whole thing. Paypal problems are nothing new, and the money which you store in your Paypal accounts you should transfer to your official banking accounts ASAP - as Paypal doesn't have to abide by any banking laws as Paypal isn't actually a bank. I've heard of worse cases involving Paypal, and there are various anti-paypal websites around, none of which I can be bothered to find. Note*: They provide no evidence of E-Bays decline, e-commerce is still very strong worldwide, I think that this is just an over-exadurated video - like any protest video, and is designed to try and worry people. Lame
