Which ones do you visit most?

Currently e-mailing back and forth with ign on trying to get a minor few day run with Fileplanet or Gamespy at a reasonably small price. Right now they won't give figures, but are asking questions, like the legality of our game, and legality of advertising. Sent 3 with IGN, and then was refered to Fox Broadcasting (Parent Company), and nothing back from them yet.

But really, I think before I get too deep into this, although I do really plan to continue looking into it, I need to know what sites you guys visit, as those would be sites I'd want to advertise on. You guys are my target audience in the fact, what you like to do outside SS, others who also like to do the same, might find this game fun.

So lemme know.

As gay as it sounds. Facebook and Myspace would be the best place to advertise, but it is probably expensive as !@#$%^&*.

Flash games sites. (Might be the best place since these people are look for free video games pretty much)

Meh, I only visit Facebook, here and I sometimes browse through the internet. Youtube may be a good place, however I can't imagine either Facebook or Youtube would be very cheap. The only other websites I regularly check are menshealth, which wouldn't be a very good place for an online game - and bbcnews24 - which I don't think has any advertisements.

I feel this post was a waste of time. blum.gif

3dgamers.com

filefront.com

maybe we should make a torrent for this game and spam (i mean spread of course) it on as many torrent sites as we can.

i need keywords for continuum

i got videogames ; video games; internet ; space ; and so far it estimates around 490K people on facebook

it only lets me put certain keywords (ones which people have listed on their interests)

Pricing Model

For any available ad inventory' date=' Facebook selects the best ad to run based on the cost per click or impression and ad performance.

If you choose a Pay for Clicks (CPC) model, you will also bid on how much you are willing to pay for each click on your ad. Facebook will display your ad in the Ad Space, News Feed, or both. The amount you are charged will never exceed your daily budget.

If you choose a Pay for Views (CPM) model, you will also bid on how much you are willing to pay for every thousand impressions of your ad. Facebook will display your ad in the Ad Space. The amount you are charged will never exceed your daily budget.

[b']What should you bid?[/b]

A higher bid increases the chance that your ad will be shown. We will discount the price of clicks and impressions on your behalf, so you may pay less than your maximum bid depending on the current demand for your ad's audience. We recommend bidding the maximum you are willing to pay so that you do not miss out on clicks and impressions.

The suggested bid range shows you what other advertisers are currently bidding for users in your ad's audience. For best results, we recommend that you bid at least as much as the minimum suggested bid. Suggested bids may be unavailable if the audience size is too small.

Min: $5.00 for daily budget.

Suggested bid (per click): USD$0.53 - 0.68

Suggested bid (per 1000 views): USD$0.37 - 0.48

did i mention it only allows you to do one country at a time... so if we want to advertise in another country, we have to make another advertisement, so it would end up being at least US$5.00/country

490K - That's pretty pathetic - I bet if you add "chat" and other social features of the game as keywords, you're bound to get a much larger Facebook audience. Try:

Chat

Game

Online

Free

FreeGame

OnlineGame

Networking

Play

Asteroids

ehrm...

newb

leet

noob

n00b

1337

How many are you allowed???
