Samapico Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Last weekend was pretty ugly over here... Snowstorm + freezing rain + rush hour at Montreal. We had to go 60 on the highway (60 km/h, metric system !@#$%^&*!) (Outside the city, of course... downtown Montreal was all jammed in traffic) :/Psssh (thats 35-40 mph) you don't know traffic Wait till you live outside DC and gotta drive the beltway... dear godThat was outside any traffic... We couldn't go faster only because of the horrible conditions.

Suicide_Run Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Another storm is about to hit Toronto....just great.
Sketter Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Another storm is about to hit Toronto....just great. Toronto had some really dry winters over the past few years, this would be the first time in 3-4 years we had snow on x-massMother N. is just making up for lost time i guess. It has been crazy in TDot and by the looks of it, more snow on the way. At least if its going to be cold, let it snow.....at least it looks nice. Sketter
Falcoknight Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Yesterdays storm gave us our 7th snow day, pushing our day of getting out of school from June 11 to June 20.Another school near here used their 11th or 12th and is considering Saturday sessions.Over 70,000 people lost power yesterday, and the state as a whole is facing a massive salt shortage, and is finding they cannot properly salt many roads to sufficiently get rid of the ice.And we have another good month or two of winter. This is looking to be the worst winter in Maine in around 10 years.
