Hakaku Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Go up a folder, then hold Shift, and double click the affected folder. All names should reappear; or reappear the next time you open that same folder (at least it works this way for me). Hope this helps.

Next?XP: (!@#$%^&*uming you're in thumbnail view atm) Go back to list view and then switch back to thumbnail view while keeping the "Shift" key pressed. Vista: Switch to Details view. Then press and hold the SHIFT key, and from the "Views" drop-down, select "Medium Icons". Close and reopen the folder. And as I said, it may or may not change the folder settings right away. You'll have to close that window and go back to see if it worked.

My Google searching skills just suck. I searched forever and found one topic from some guy with the same problem and had no replies. Anyways, you were technically the first person to come up with it. So thanks to you and Cerium. This can be closed now.
