Trained Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Theyre going to have to fine the entire internet.
Hakaku Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 150 000$ a track... lolz.That's just ridiculous... I'd significantly increase the country's debt if I had to pay 150k for all my mp3's...Not 150k, 1.5Mil... Which would mean I'd be indebted somewhere around 225 000 000$ to 300 000 000$
Dav Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 When is the music industry going to work out that using the coirts isn't going to stop people downloadng/copying music? they are just desperatly trying to protect a failing business model.
Drake7707 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Not 150k, 1.5Mil... no, 1.5mil is for a 10 song cd, so $150k per song. well, would be around $225.000.000 for me xD (over 50% of my mp3 folder are legal songs xD (oc remix database))
Smong Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 I'd significantly increase the country's debt if I had to pay 150k for all my mp3's...According to the CIA, USA's GDP is only 14 tril so after the first prosecution you wouldn't need many people to go "I'm Spartacus" to rack up that figure. That's only 93 mil songs.
Dav Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 its all scaremongering. If they get it through they will then make an example of a mother of two again who definatly cant pay the stupid amount demanded.
rootbear75 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 someone should just kill the RIAA and make a new organization that isnt re!@#$%^&*ed
Drake7707 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 someone should just kill the RIAA and make a new organization that isnt re!@#$%^&*ed Organisations influenced by governments are always stupid, because they think they can do anything they want with the government backing them.
