Hakaku Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 Before entering a zone, press the "Trace" button, and let it run about 100 cycles. Post the results back here, it'll probably help find the problem. And what kind of internet connection do you have? Cable/DSL/Dial up? Does this happen all the time? If not, how long has it occured?

Guest franx Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 it might be clearer like this http://www.geocities.com/frankidoo28/traceEG.txthttp://www.geocities.com/frankidoo28/traceHZ.txt
rootbear75 Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 it could be ASSS server code kicking you off for lag
Samapico Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Nope... Just noticed he has the same IP as me (well, it's the gateway IP)I have no idea who he is
Incomplete Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 It's a small world. You have probably scared him off Sama. I think sama said he's been having the same problems which means it's obviously the connection.
Samapico Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Yeah, they block a large part of the traffic here... Torrents rarely download faster than 5 KB/s. Bleh.Had 30% S2C ploss yesterday...When I logged on, my ping was like 3500ms. It went down to normal not too long after though (10-30ms) Connecting to zones always take me like 20-30 seconds. It stays at 'entering arena...' And downloading is as slow... so I usually get kicked for no data before it even hits 1% download.
Samapico Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 This game was made for 28.8 and 56k modems... so no it wouldn't eat all their bandwidth. Yep it sucks.I think HZ is on ASSS, you could try connecting to a subgame zone like trench wars, maybe it will let you connect. ASSS often has problems handling packetloss like we have. But chances are you'll have like 30% packetloss so it won't be much playable anyway...
Guest franx Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 is there anything we can do? Do they mean to let our internet like this?
