For several rounds now, the SSCentral Gods, under the command of Dav, have been the predominant clan in SSRPG. They have decisively defeated anything thrown in front of them.. Until now.

This round, the Gods rival clan, known previously as Penis and 1337 soldiers, now known as Lollerskates, has matched the Gods blow for blow, and now, as we cross the halfway mark of this round and enter the homestretch, the Lollerskates have proven to be more resilient.

Upon entering the round, Lollerskates lost its former leader, JDS, due to a ban, though this did not put us at much of a disadvantage as Aileron was not playing for the Gods, so it was pretty even. Dav used his strategy of utilizing the clicker to get a large boost early in the round and so did Falco, something the Gods did not expect. In fact it caught them so off guard, one of their members even tried to claim foul play.

As the round progressed, Lollerskates and the Gods seemed pretty evenly matched, both having small stretches of time where they would outscore the other.

But, as time wore on, the Lollerskates proved to have the better strategy, activity, and determination, as is evident just looking at tonights ranks.

We are 50% through the round, and ranks 1-4 are all members of Lollerskates. All the stat bonus points are owned by members of Lollerskates, and there is not one member of the Gods in the top 5.

HoE, the Gods spy and bonus point machine, gave up when pressure was put on him by Rasta.

Dav, the Gods champion, could not withstand the constant onslaught of attacks from Lollerskates members, and fell in ranks, eventually being forced to re-ship to take up massing the Lollerskates leading point scorers, myself and Rasta.

With HoE out of the game, and Dav in a ship that can't hope to eventually be scoring highly, and the highest ranking member of the Gods coming in at 6th place, it seems that only some miracle or drastic turn of events can turn the tide in their favor. With each day the Lollerskates pull farther and farther into the lead, and the Gods situation looks more abysmal.

We, the Lollerskates, declare SSCentral Gods pwnt.

P.S. Yes, if we lose in the end to the Gods, I will acknowledge the strong re!@#$%^&*ation related to this post.

get a life, its ssrpg. rofl, some 5000 word speech cuz dav finally got bored of winning consecutively? you guys need all these transfer !@#$%^&* and previous JDS bug glitches from last round to beat dav? rofl go get laid

There are two reasons I can figure for this change in events:

1) Myself leaving

Last round I was about 1/3rd of the SSCentral God's tallies, with Dav being about 1/2. However, my bigger contribution was made by constantly sabbing the other clan. Doing so hurt you guys a lot, allowing my non-sabbed clan-mates to get ahead. I have never finished first place in any round of the SS RPG, but I am still the most hated player, because usually when I'm playing somebody else on my clan gets #1 while all compe!@#$%^&*ors get sabbed.

This clearly isn't all me, because I've stayed out of rounds in the past and my clan did just fine.

2) JDS leaving (by 'leaving' I mean 'being banned')

This may be rude, but the evidence states that JDS hurt your clan more than anything. Its apparent in the tallies, and its apparent to me in the logs. Granted, he did score tallies, and a lot of them, but while he was present, his clan performed as a group of individuals. JDS' tallies usually came at the expense of his clan-mates, who normally wouldn't need to worry about being attacked because the Gods were never offensive specialists. So what you had was JDS at the top and the rest of his clan straggling to keep up.

But other than that, last round there was little to no strategy. The whole clan built offense, while Falco attempted to get both spy and sentry. You couldn't m!@#$%^&* because everyone had too big an offense, offerred no compe!@#$%^&*ion for Best Defense, and when your one and only spy specialist had to retire you lost those two catagories - until JDS managed to catch up in best sentry, but by doing so diverted funding from strike to sentry, allowing Dav's defense to grow way past his offense, and then Dav's income became untouchable. All the while the rest of the clan filled redundant roles as offensive specialists.

Additionally, the entire clan changed ships at the same time. Overall, the clan needed two guys holding Best Strike and Best Sentry more than you needed 7 Oldskool Spiders.

Now, with Falcoknight and rasta420 in charge you guys are looking like a team. Obviously Falcoknight is focusing on Defense and Sentry while rasta is focusing on Strike and Covert, after that are some generalists to go after the middle ranks, and a few service members to utilize transfer. You guys also seem to have two or three dedicated massers who massed Dav consistantly. In the meantime rasta built his Strike unhindered. Dav's massed defense couldn't keep up, and the Gods were denied their chief income supporter.

rasta taking sentry away from Falco does raise some concerns, but I guess both of them need sentry for the practical purpose of saving their armories from sab. I'm also would be concerned, if Dav was still in this game, what would happen when sab starts working, whether or not rasta can simultaneously focus on Strike and Spy. He might have needed to relegate Strike to HoT dOg if that had become a problem.

I said it before and I'll say it again: teamwork and role-playing wins this game. Yes, it doesn't seem like it; it seems like everyone is just building stats. But generally the best clans work together, and actually do have a loose plan. Generally the good clans build upon each other's strengths in order to create an environment where it is easy to build their stats.

That's usually why losers claim "cheat" so often, because the observe correctly that the game has been set up so that it is impossible for them to get ahead. Usually however, that set-up is the result of good planning made on the part of the people on the other clan.

(That being said I won't deny that Falco and rasta are ahead because of transfer - though, they still aren't getting as many freebies as one would like to believe)

I'm not too worried about Rasta taking sentry. Now that I'm basically untouchable to be massed, and #1 defense is mine for the taking as far as I can tell, I serve as an awesome vessel to make tons of money and send money/turns/items to other members like Static Burn, Hot Dog, etc.

As a matter of fact a few hours ago I sent Static 200 turns and 10,000 L3 bullets.

I've reached the point where I make over a billion a day, so I can just be an armory of sorts for the clan. As long as I stay high in the ranks and Rasta stays at the top and takes up the bonus tallies, I can boost up Hot Dog and Static burn to make sure they're light years ahead of TRP and sound and secure our victory for sure.

And yes Ail, you leaving was a major reason for this, you have no idea how happy I am that I don't have to worry about you sabbing my !@#$%^&* all the time =P

you do know if the transfer !@#$%^&* wasnt available, you'd be sitting under dav right now taking it in the !@#$%^&*. so shut the !@#$%^&* up thinking your some hotshot, your lucky dav gave up because of this transfer !@#$%^&*, so have your fun, next round though if transfers gone, back to runner up smile.gif

I was able to attack dav b4 I learned how good transfer was. With out me finding how to use transfer we would still have a nice game with dav, falc,me,and !@#$%^&* in the top spots .

I should be sabbing people b/c my spy bonus is light years ahead of anyones sentry ,but its pointless with the gods losing dav to re shipping.

Don't forget they didn't have me and JDS playing this round so that makes up for losing Dav. If all 3 of us were playing then the Gods would still lose just not as much. The fact is that the Gods are completely utterly dependent on Dav so if he's gone there's absolutely nothing they can do to win. Edited by AstroProdigy

Actually, it would be better to say that I cancelled out JDS, as he only scored a couple dozen more tallies than me last round while Dav blew by both of us.

That is, ofcourse, if JDS had made a net positive impact, which he did and didn't do. His positive impact was in tally scoring and recruiting. Fair to sy, there would be no lollerskates clan were it not for JDS. However, he seriously hurt his clan with general management. They simply did not have the coordination they do now.
