No_Remorse Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 I'm using Version 3.1.0.10. Just curious, does anyone else experience the "Save as SSME compatible" function not working? Which leads me to my next question... I sometimes notice imperfections in the circle tiling function. For example, the top left quarter of the circle wouldn't necessarily be symmetrical with the bottom right. So it get's really hard to tweak a section, copy, then rotate to get an equally proportioned circle. I hope I'm being clear enough the way I said that. That's really the only reason I would need to have my maps saved as SSME compatible files. Additionally, I was wondering how to disable the tile coordinates. Sometimes they get in the way. Very much appreciated for all the work you guys have done here. Quote
Samapico Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 The circle thing is a known problem... however, check out Ms Paint, it does the same thing... It's a rounding problem that is not easy to solve Save as SSME compatible in 3.1.10 doesnt work too well, the tileset might be saved as 24bit, which SSME doesn't like. Convert the tileset to 8bit and reimport it Try out 3.1.12, I think it has a more versatile save-as-ssme function too Quote
No_Remorse Posted January 12, 2008 Author Report Posted January 12, 2008 Will do. Is there a way to disable tile coordinates? Quote
