rootbear75 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Only the recommended screen resolutions are listed. For additional settings, click the Advanced button on the Settings tab, click the Adapter tab, and then click List all Modes. Select the resolution, color level, and refresh rate you want.doing that cant permenantly affect your computer TC... anything you do on your computer as cosidered "normal use" can !@#$%^&* up a computersame with a TV... some random things that you have no control over can permanantly screw up your tv or computer if you want your computer on your TV, your just going to have to suck up and do some stuff if your computer is that fragile, then why are you using it?
Samapico Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Our TV needs a screwdriver planted through the plastic screening on the top to work... and when it glitches, we just.. move the screwdriver's handle around and move some parts inside it. lol. (Don't worry, it's staying away from the cathod of the CRT)
tcsoccerman Posted January 8, 2008 Author Report Posted January 8, 2008 rootbear i'm happy with what i got, no need to go on.
»Admiral Kirk Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Using an incorrect resolution will have no adverse affects on your TV or Computer. So long as you use the dialog that prompts you to OK the change in 15 seconds, you wont even have to worry about going into safe mode to reset a bad resolution. But as rootbear said, hitting the "ON" button on your computer isnt without its risks, so you might as well just do whatever makes you happy
