Trained Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Everyone knows, a good zone most likely is going to have prox along the lines of winning events ect. With this exception upon me I have found the prox in my zone to take away 0 damage. I dont understand, what the problem could be but this is how it is: I make the prox distance 3 pixels long and it explodes, but it dont take away nothing, I set the bomb damage as 5000 and the ship has 2000 energy with the max of 2200 energy. Can someone help, or know how to solve this problem? Quote
Fluffy White Bunny Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 What about the bomb damage radius setting? If a normal bomb hits a wall right next to your ship, does it do damage? Quote
Trained Posted November 18, 2003 Author Report Posted November 18, 2003 nah, ill try to fix that though, should i make it higher or lower? higher i would think. Quote
Xeterax Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 BombExplodePixels have to be greater or equal to Proximity. If Prox=1, I suggest the BombExplodePixels to be at least 60-. If it's 3, then I suggest 100-120 . . etc Quote
Broken God Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Proximity is in tiles, so the minimum bomb damage radius that does any damage is prox radius * 16.The server help site had a bomb damage calculator too, you can use that for fast testing. Quote
Trained Posted November 20, 2003 Author Report Posted November 20, 2003 Problem fixed thanks to all of you for your help. I really appreciate it and so do the players of OZ. Quote

A bomb with 8 will do damage to a 1 tile wide ship. Quote
