Thoughts? Hopes? Criticisms?

»LtNirvana Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 The hobbit was a tolkien book that took place before the LOTR series. I think it followed bilbo?
Dav Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 it follows bilbo and how he came across the ring. It was written as the LOTR prequel as a children's book. not sure that it needs 2 movies though, the book isn't that long.
ThunderJam Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 IF its 2 movies, maybe they are weaving in the ending the left out of LOTR. The part where frodo and the others come back to the shire and sarumon has taken it over and they had to reclaim it. A lot of people complained becuz that wasnt in the 3rd LOTR movie.
X`terrania Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 I remember reading The Hobbit a few years ago, especially the bit about the dragon :] In the LOTR movies Gandalf said, "All I simply did was give him a nudge out the door." Haha.
nikegurl637 Posted December 18, 2007 Author Report Posted December 18, 2007 The Hobbit is a great story, I read it when I was in 7th or 8th grade.I'm not sure about what the 2nd movie could possibly be about, unless they split the book into 2 parts. Maybe they'll incorporate how Bilbo comes to adopt Frodo. Also, I'm not sure if Peter Jackson is producing whether it means he'll be directing as well. Hopefully.Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for these movies to be just as good!
PoLiX Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Kick !@#$%^&*.. I always loved the movie cartoon for that book. Gonna be sweet to see this.
