PoLiX Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 There would be no way for them to change or get access to your password, as they'd need this access on SSC itself. See, the thing is, players worry about losing their precious names off SSC, and obviously, tagging names would be kinda dumb, as you may never know if the non-ssc name is really the SSC person, or vice versa. I've known some non-ssc zone owners who use a name other than the one they own on SSC, because it is owned on SSC and not on theirs.

Dr Brain Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 There would be no way for them to change or get access to your password, as they'd need this access on SSC itself. The passwords aren't heavily encrypted, which is the whole issue with connecting to untrusted zones. The biller would get access to all the passwords used on that segment of the network. It would also be relaying commands, which means it could capture all the BanG passwords as well.
»CypherJF Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 You shouldn't use BanG via a 3rd party biller. If you have SSC hosting, login to a SSC zone to perform BanG operations.
