rootbear75 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 (edited) anyone heard of it" Nothing’s hotter than naked women' date=' except naked women who like comic books and prance around with comic book paraphernalia for your enjoyment. They’re out there, make no mistake, though the only place you’ll get to see them is in the [u']2008 Nerdcore Calendar[/u]. Actually, if you were at the release party for the calendar you got to see them as well. What? You weren’t there? Bummer. It’s all good though, we were and we took some cameras with us. Do we even have to tell you to tune in? http://media001.g4tv.com/images/blog/2007/11/27/633317631880647942.jpg hmmm tempted to get it fyi: the link (at the moment) shows up with "service unavailable" but i do think it will be working later Discuss: Link removed (contained nudity) -Samapico Edited November 28, 2007 by Samapico Link removed

NSFW I think DEFINITELY its not NSFWthe site IS NSFW if i wanted to post any pictures, except for the one above... i would be breaking Rule #1. Edited November 28, 2007 by rootbear75
Samapico Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Removed link, not only was it NSFW, it was breaking rule #1 Also changed description from 'may be NSFW' to 'NSFW'
X`terrania Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 I hope he gets a warning (20%) for this offense.
rootbear75 Posted November 28, 2007 Author Report Posted November 28, 2007 Removed link, not only was it NSFW, it was breaking rule #1 Also changed description from 'may be NSFW' to 'NSFW'aww sama.. ur no fun...as a warning page (you must be 18 or older enter: then a link that says enter)is that okay?LINK REMOVED I hope he gets a warning (20%) for this offense.oh shut up
JDS Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 wow all this moderation is pretty !@#$%^&*ing anoying. OMFG NUDITY BAN?!!!!!! I think its the mods who are in the 'wrong' in this. If we want to discuss and share things like this, among other 'nudity' related issues. We should be free to do so. no one forces anyone to come here, nothing bad comes from clicking the link, nothing bad comes from looking at the link. Get a grip you 'mods' stop trying so hard to impress , were all a community here, no one 'new' has joined the forum and stayed for as long as i can remember. Your moderating a community that doesnt need it
Samapico Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 I'm trying to impress? lolz And if anyone wants to see the 2008 nerdcore calendar, i'm pretty sure google can tell you. And root, that would still be advertising a 18+ site... I'm not saying it's breaking a rule specificly, but I wouldn't do that too much. And if any other mod removes that link as well, I will support the decision, but I don't really mind if it stays that way.
JDS Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 a fine example : 3 e-friends are in .?go #arena and are talking about 'racist things' moderator come in: mod>dont say that!jds> why not!mod> because its against the rules. same thing applys here.you should not moderate a close net community.
Samapico Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 this is a public forum, not a private arena... very bad example
rootbear75 Posted November 28, 2007 Author Report Posted November 28, 2007 a fine example : 3 e-friends are in .?go #arena and are talking about 'racist things' moderator come in: mod>dont say that!jds> why not!mod> because its against the rules. same thing applys here.you should not moderate a close net community.im going to say the same thing i do to everyone:the mods/admins rule the forumwhat they say goes.i dont always like the rule but it is still the rules
Cancer+ Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 This game is for all ages. People from the game come to these forums for support and help, not to find nudity. Just stop trying to be a rebel. The rules set here are logical and well established. Follow them.

Dav Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 why would you post the link again after removing it? It does break rule #1 as it directly links nudity. Very nice calender but a mention of it is enough for this forum. If anyone wants it they can google it. It is read by people who are below the legal age for this stuff and so they have to be considered in terms of the content that is and is not allowed.
JDS Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 so its ok to find the link anywhere else, but not for our own convienience to find the link right here?
PoLiX Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Posting links to porn in most zones gets you banned. At least here we're a bit more lenient.
rootbear75 Posted November 29, 2007 Author Report Posted November 29, 2007 Posting links to porn in most zones gets you banned. At least here we're a bit more lenient.but its not porn... its a freakin calendar
Dav Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 its content is pornographic. Just because you can write when you are going on holiday on it somewhere doesn't change the nature of the images. I can see where you are coming from here. As I said in PM to you, if the forum was only visited by adults then there would be no issue. As it stands people who are underage to view that sort of material visit here and thus they must be accounted for in the forum rules. What's to stop them googling it?answer to this is nothing. Nothing we do will stop anyone googling porn of any kind or the anarchists cookbook for that matter. Point is we are not providing access of any kind to that content. If you want it, go find it but it had nothing to do with this forum or its members as you must actively seek it yourself, not use a provided link. In response to the ranting about moderation here.Modding is a thankless job, it is not done to be "cool" or to show how important you are. The job of the mods is to uphold the rules of the admins regardless of how popular they are or whether the individual doing the moderation agrees to said rules. Admins make the rules based on their opinions, often with the input of the forum community, and the forums intended audience. In this case the audience is intended to include people below the age of 18, therefore the rules on this issue reflect that. Remember that the content you post may be 100% acceptable to you, but 100% inappropriate for the person that reads it. Rules are there to make sure the vast majority of content is appropriate for all users.
