Just wanted to make a request for a couple graphic enhancements for Star Wars -I have an existing tileset that I am using for an upcoming map release, but I want it to look a little less generic, its a very plain looking set. Also, I would like to have the Doors, and Fly over/under energy beams color changed. -I have an image of a Jedi Holocron (data storage) that I would like to have a custom flag image/lvz modeled after. So instead of picking up flags, you'd actually be picking up Jedi Holocrons, and when the timer runs out "The info in the holocron is downloaded" thus you win. -I am going to be adding warp points, and I would like an animation graphic sorta similar to Hyperspace, but instead it would be like when a ship in Star Wars goes into hyper drive, with the stars streaking past in all directions, and then returning to normal upon entering normal space. »Purge Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 for your 3rd request, it seems that you would need a bot to provide the LVZ toggling when a player enters the warp field. more specifically, do you want the "stars streaking past in all directions" animation to take up the whole screen with the ship being visible in the center, much like the "Entering Arena" animation (except probably faster)? all_shall_perish Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 (edited) i think it'd be rather difficult to do the fullscreen image of warping (although it would be very cool) due to the size of the file itself and also difference in player resolutions. as for the warp points, as said earlier, those will have to be controlled autonomously. if you need help with the modules/bot-plugins to do this sort of thing, i could probably be of !@#$%^&*istance. just let me know. aquarius Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 maybe you guys already discussed this, but it seems star wars must move to ASSS, to accomplish this i'll help you move all your files to ASSS, you're going to need an ASSS host, talk to your admin until then we can test in ssdev's ASSS server, arena starwars, i think i have sysop in your zone, all start this asap - then perish could work out the modules Quote

Flag, koth, and jp display are the only ones I think are important, the others are just filler. We also have the AI bots, which are run from a seperate mervbot. Quote
