FFS i come back too this game... and lag is pretty good and all... and then i get dumb!@#$%^&* Blue silver banning me... -*BAD WORD*- this -*BAD WORD*-. The ban itself doesnt piss me off its h0w it was delt with. I get straightup banned every1 else who is doing it gets a waring... my ban is a month and -*BAD WORD*-en every1 elses is -*BAD WORD*-en 10 days -*BAD WORD*- this

Whats funny to me is that someone gets banned for something either a Moderater with powers did or some glitch in the map had. I mean you staffers should thank Bran for pointing out that there are still ways to get that stoopid ball out of the main base.

 

And wasn't this a problem for awhile now? I mean we do have a dev team who makes all these pretty things like maps, tiles, etc..., but can't take the time to fix a glitch in the map we have now....

 

If anything I think bran should've been warned the first time and banned for atleast 2 days the next time.... I mean it isn't the players fault they have a good time on the expense of some graphical glitch by a map maker.

 

I mean your banning veterans here, Brans been loyal to 17th for awhile, cut him some slack, you staffers whine about how the zone is dying when your getting rid of the people who are keeping the -*BAD WORD*-ing place alive.

 

For one, me, I got banned becuase of Yapzu, someone who hardly ever plays 17th but on weekends and also takes away the population of 17th to DSB.... I mean I guess I did wrong by speccing Yapzu that game, but I did what a "professional" who see's (with common sense knowledge) odd things happening when someones playing... And what me? No I haven't played this zone for awhile now have I? no no, not me.... sigh whatever...

 

Either way, this is exactly what keeps this zone from growning, yet no one really even see's what's happening here.... It's like you all want this zone to stay small so you have some meaning in this world...

 

Well Bran, you will be back on the simple fact that 17th is an addicting zone, not on the map or gameplay, but on the arguments that go on here. Everyone here, including me, has ego's the size of mount rushmore...

 

Everyone in this game plays it to be the best, thats why they keep trying to improve their skills (even if it means altering things around to make them play better), but yet no one will ever be the "best" on the simple fact that we are all real people with common sense to dodge a bullet/bomb...

 

Well i'm getting off topic so I'll conclude this now. Really I don't expect anything different from are staff members, I mean most are under 18 and some play all day, all night, all year long, for years....

 

But I'm spent...

Well, said "crappy rule" has been around since the days when I first started playing Subspace and this zone, when all the people we love to laud as being amazing leaders were in charge.

 

Yet it still exists? Why?

Because it is a rule which, if broken, DIRECTLY DISRUPTS THE GAME. Can you play the powerball game with no powerball? Didn't think so. Keep in mind, other things which directly disrupt the game include: Twister, framelag, lego.exe, and overclocking. They make the game unplayable for others, which is why the disruptors are punished.

 

That being said, i'm never in support of bans that last this long unless the losers that earned said ban do not deserve to be around period, like advertisers who will never be back for example. But don't blast the rule for being "crappy", because then you make yourself look as foolish as when (for example) you take the mantle of "Elite Vet" and preach from a blatently wrong point of view that makes me promptly shove the foot that was formerly in your mouth into your stomach

 

(edit) Oh, and Joker: Blue is over the age of 18 dear, as are the very large majority of people (aka: everyone but ntfx) who have access to make a ban more then 7 days. And net's quite mature imo. (/edit)

Another fact here is this...

 

When bran got banned the first time for this, he complained and whined and we lifted it early, after he agreed that if he did it again he'd be banned for a year. He had no problem with this, and swore he'd never do it again.

 

Well.... ur banned for 30, and not a year, and no i wont asked that it be extended to a year either. Did you not realize this would happen when you did this? Listen to that lil voice in ur head bro, its called ur conscience screaming common sense at you.
