rootbear75 Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 (edited) Some guys in our dorm are doing a spoof of "The Office," and i think its gonna be quite good.I have a part in it as Steve... See the cast descriptions belowive also included a first script as well What do you guys think? This is an in-depth look on who the characters are. Feel free to read your character and the others to have a better knowing of who you are. Especially if their names are mentioned in your character overview. Stephen (Michael Scott, Duy xxxxx)Stephen is the Co-RA of Johnson Hall. He is socially awkward, has few friends, and is quite lonely. He thinks of himself as a dorm comedian and his attempts at humor reflect his desperate wish to be liked. But they prove unfunny at best ad are often inappropriate, and sometimes offensive or unwittingly mean. Much of the humor of his character derives from his lack of self-awareness, which is highlighted by the awkward situations he creates for himself and his inability to extricate himself from them. His shortfalls are compounded by his seemingly huge ego. He has feelings for Mic!@#$%^&*e, which are mutual but cannot chase after because his position as an RA, and Shauna, who later reveals to him that he is not actually an RA. He is a Freshman like his residents but started in the Spring. Nick (Dwight Fart Schrute, Jake xxxxx)Nick holds the !@#$%^&*le of "!@#$%^&*istant to the Residential Adviser" but constantly refers to himself as "!@#$%^&*istant Residential Adviser" attempting to elevate himself to second-in-command to Stephen. Nick craves authority over others and relishes any minor task that Michael or anyone else gives him. Though Nick acts like a know-it-all, he is actually quite gullible and naive. He is easily tricked by him roommate, Pete. Nick's out look on life seems to be more sever than that of his fellow hall-mates. His actions suggest that he would like to imagine himself as a hero in an action movie. He is a purple belt in Ka Ra Tay. Despite lacking social skills and common sense, he is actually a very intelligent person. Additionally, despite his personal dislike of Pete, the two have shown to be a very effective team in episode two, "Roommate Bonding". It is later known that he has a girlfriend in China.Pete (Pete Halpert, Tommy xxxxxx)Intelligent but unmotivated, Pete spends most of his time in the dorm with 12th floor resident Sarah to engineer pranks on his overbearing roommate Nick. He is a pre-med major and has a nonchalant and cynical at!@#$%^&*ude of the 2nd floor. He has a crush on Mic!@#$%^&*e who has a crush on Stephen who has a crush on about every girl he sees. He later learns Mic!@#$%^&*e's "snobbiness" and learns he is attracted to Sarah. He is known for his comic deadpan camera mugging or the "Jim Smirk". Sarah (Pam Beesly, Sara xxxxxx)Pam is the friendly but often frustrated best friend of Pete. She can seem shy or hesitant to speak her mind, but enjoys chatting with her secret crush Pete. She often helps him play pranks on his roommate Nick. She has a boyfriend back home attending the community college, Rick. She is also in pre-med alike Pete.B.J. (Toby Flenderson, Colin xxxxxx)B.J. is the stale, bland resident closet homosexual who has recently gone through a break up. It is thought that he has a crush on Sarah as he is always trying to see her when she is with Pete. However it is Pete that he secretly likes.Mic!@#$%^&*e (Loosely based on Karen Filippelli, Sara xxxxxx)Mic!@#$%^&*e is the laid back, semi-snobby resident from the 3rd floor who likes Stephen. She first is only attracted to him by first seeing him and hearing about his authority. She makes excuses to go the second floor to see him. Her roommate, Stephanie, realizes this and plays pranks on Stephen by putting bags of "smelly !@#$%^&*" in his room with Mic!@#$%^&*e. Mic!@#$%^&*e acts like she is not interested in being in Stephen's room but is really nervous. In later episodes she finds out what Stephen is really like is loses interest but then learns about Pete's crush on her. She is friends with Sarah, but their camaraderie is threatened by Sarah's learning of Mic!@#$%^&*e's intentions for Pete. Stephanie (No equivalent, Liz xxxxxxx)If you have seen Science of Sleep, this character is like Zoe, the friend of Stephanie in the movie. She is outgoing, carefree and very flirtatious may be confused for "!@#$%^&*ty". She is the brains behind the pranks she and Mic!@#$%^&*e pulls on Stephen. Everyone likes her. Shauna (Jan Levinson, Britni xxxxx)Stephen's superior as well as every RA in the building. Shauna's no-nonsense work style is at odds with Stephen's much more casual approach. She is usually reprimanding Michael for some combination of failing to fulfill his work duties, violating policy, or trying to flirt with her. In Stephen's attempt to his kiss her in another episode, she slaps him and confesses that he is not a real RA. John (No equivalent, Sebastian xxxxxx)John is the other RA on the 2nd floor. He is unsympathetic to what happens to Stephen and usually gives Stephen his work even though he knows Stephen is not a real RA. Laid back and likable, he is usually out partying and not seen in the dorm. Steve (No equivalent, Josh xxxxxx) <- this is meThe overweight, gamer who everyone goes to when they need tech help. His interests involve Mountain Dew and MMORPG's. A know-it-all because he is, he usually tries to start LAN parties for Halo 3. (Remember he doesn't talk snobby or with a lisp. Just regularly.)the_dorm_script.pdf Edited November 12, 2007 by rootbear75
