Skyekicker Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Hey guys I have slight problem with having too many Mercs. Currently this is my unit count: Attack Troops : 0Attack Mercs : 10,000Defense Troops : 2,000Defense Mercs : 5,000Untrained Troops : 144Untrained Mercs : 2,457Spies : 5,853Sentries : 5,916 I'm currently at a negative -424,399 point income and currently have 1,082,558 income.I have a unit production of a hundred per hour. I'm going to be hitting negatives rather soon and I thought the game prevented you from hiring Mercs if it would drop you to the negatives. If this is true, there is a bug in the game which allows the player to acquire negative income: Training spies and sentries to acquire negative income - orGoing into battle to get spies and sentries killed The first method can be solved if you made the check to see if the player can support the Mercs with his current income by using the spy and sentry income values for all troops. The second method would require an adequate number of Mercs to be killed before applying casualties to Spies and Sentries. Just thought I might report this as a bug for Aileron to fix.
ra$ta420 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 your pretty !@#$%^&*ing re!@#$%^&*ed,read topics before making one or something . http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showtopic=17804
Sound Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Really though... How many times is this going to be brought up.. In this single round even?!ATM, merc caps can not be added because the core will not allow tampering.
Skyekicker Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 Problem temporally solved. Stole someones points and hopefully by the time my current point total runs out I should either hit positive income or should be able to steal someone else points and wait till its positive.
Sound Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 your not even in a clanWhat's that have to do with it?
Sound Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 I'm still scoring more tallies than you. =/
ra$ta420 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 (edited) the only reason you are making tallies is b/c i ship reset ..................... -edit- O wait you make unclaimed tallies, nice job. Edited November 7, 2007 by rasta420
JDS Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 sound you need to be in a clan to make tallies, what your making right now are 'unclaimed tallies' if you read the score. And i hope your not proud of that
Dav Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 well you get personal tallies for the individual result but contribute nothing to the clan game.
AstroProdigy Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 I suggest Sound join 1337 Soldiers then!
Sound Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 (edited) Exactly. Unclaimed tallies. Tallies are still tallies. And more is still more. Edited November 7, 2007 by Sound
AstroProdigy Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Why aren't you with us anyway? Penis clan died anyway. :-(
Aileron Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 For reference, I'm still marking sound's tallies as Forsaken Commanders tallies. Hot Dog is the one scoring unclaimed.
Sound Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 (edited) Oh... Why are you doing that? Lol the other day i was like checking everybody's clan like who the !@#$%^&* is getting tallies for Forsaken Commanders?! Edited November 8, 2007 by Sound
Aileron Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Well, when you left people were still in the clan, so I figured it must have been some kind of mistake. Oh, back to the topic though...you can get rid of the negative income faster if you m!@#$%^&* or get massed depending on whether your mercs are offensive or defensive.
JDS Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 (edited) aileron.. all that would do is kill mercs.. you bought them for a reason after all and im prety sure you dont want them dead. Edited November 10, 2007 by JDS
Sound Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 That's the idea jds. To kill off enough mercs so that your income isn't negative anymore.
JDS Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 oh so you buy mercs because you want more power in defence or attack, but it cant be so easy, there has to be a negative effect.. so negative income is pretty good, besides you have to buy ALOT of mercs is you want to have negative money. change my mind on this one, negative money is asencialy good for the game. keep it!
Dav Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 indeed, if it wasn't for a negative income we would all have much larger armies by now and the top spot would be determined by who can make it on-line when mercs are added to buy them all as happened a while back when mercs were cheap and had 0 income.
Sound Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Right, the negative income IS a good thing. What i'm saying is that if you don't WANT to lose money, you kill off enough so that you DON'T lose money every hour. Maybe break even.
