JDS Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 !@#$%^&*o, recently my insurance has expired.. and to re-buy a year will cost me 1800$ Does anyone know repercussions for driving without insurance?
LostAndNotFound Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 (edited) It all depends on what state you're located in. Sometimes it can also depend on what mood the officer is in. The penalties can range from a small to large fine or having your car impounded. Most likely for a first time offense you'll only get fined. I suggest you Google and find your state's laws regarding this. I know a few people that have been driving for years without insurance. One friend of mine is always getting pulled over and he has warrants out for his arrest in Tennessee and he owes $2,800. However, the other person lives here in Texas and he has yet to be in an accident or get pulled over. I do not recommend you drive without insurance. But if you do drive without insurance please be careful! My buddy has a relative that was in an accident and lost his leg and the other person did not have insurance and the guy that lost his leg ended up only getting $20,000 from the accident. Hakaku Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 If you do though, you're screwed terribly. Driving without insurance is illegal, so you just shouldn't do it. What would happen in a case where you hit someone or got hit? That's worse than just getting stopped.
ESCANDAL0SA Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 im in toronto right now and the insurance rates are crazy.3500 would be reduced by half if i had the stupid driving school certificate.

ESCANDAL0SA Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 im a strugglin college student savin every dime i can i do it lol i would get that certificate just think 1750$ extra to use just like a tax return yeaaa but i don't have time at all, between school and work.i didn't even take driving classes to prep for my road test or anything...i learned by myself & i was already driving wayyy before i got my license lol. rofl... i got a speeding ticket in New Jersey, but when they sent me the letter to go take a class, they had North Carolina written on it, so i called them up, and my ticket was promptly forgotten take a class?! wtf. i got a speeding ticket for going 5 over the limit AND the sleeps with mothers was standing at the bottom of a hill, using the radar... obviously cars are gonna be going a bit faster because of gravity. but yea...it was a $90 ticket and it would've been recorded by my insurance company.

Just drive good man thats all i gotta say oh yeah ummm that driving class !@#$%^&*, just take that !@#$%^&* or pay some dude in advance and he'll get it done for you, without taking the class. PS. yo losa you got some big mangos! them janx is like STICKIn out man ah i hate it when i see because i love talkin about mangos oh yeah up in FAIRfaxcounty in va, reckless driving here gets you 1 year in jail or a $3000 fine, so you need a lawyer to reduce that !@#$%^&* down if u dont wanna end up payin that much, cops in va are ASSS stay outa this mothafuakin state its a !@#$%^&*ing "police state" lik no joke rootbear ur in VCU u got it ez there man lol
ESCANDAL0SA Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 honestly... they're not even that big. they just look bigger in that particular picture. anyway... they're starting to crack down on illegal ways of getting the driving class certificate.i don't wanna take the risk because if you're caught, they confiscate your license.
2pac Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 i work at kinkos so i can easily change it and get away with it, most of the drivin instructors dont keep track off who has already tooken the course or w/e they just want the $ and be done with it.
masscarnage Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 its mandatory out here to take the course if your under 18 when you go for your liscense, pretty gay but saves $$. i took a motorcycle trainin class at school and didnt cost me anything since i tacked on the class after my core classes and got my liscense through it and it dropped my insurance a ton
ESCANDAL0SA Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 i don't really care though.. it's expensive but i can manage it right now. i never get caught though.that one time doesn't count lol.i usually go over the limit 20-30 when im driving. sometimes 40.i'm still a safe driver... i just like to get to where i'm going fast lmao.
2pac Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 are rader detectors legal in ur area? because if they are im gonna move there.. va sux!
ESCANDAL0SA Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 why would you be in favour of radar detectors?
2pac Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 cause i can listen to my techno music goin 100+ without worrying about a cop behind me lol, vroom vroom vroom like them mazda cars on the tv
masscarnage Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 all most all the cops in my area have dodge chargers now since a whole bunch of people were able to out pace cops in their bikes/cars. on the most part if you know how to ride and were your going you can easily out pace any cop since their a bunch of reASSS too lol
