This is a serious poll. I would like feedback.

 

The primary reason to update the map wasn't actually to replace the bases. It was to rework the regions for my warper overhaul. I just decided to update the bases that no one seemed to like (and also the bases that people felt were overpowered).

 

I have no vested interest in any of the bases. I'm not opposed to switching them back or putting in entirely different ones.

Bases 4 and 5 need nerfing. Fact is, they are TOO good. Needs immediate balancing.

 

The tiling looks cool when you first look at it, but now they hurt my eyes. I still prefer the old bases where each base maintains one "element" of tiling.

 

Again, just my opinion, but I'm sure many will agree.

I agree with you gb. The tiles and layout in base 4 and 5 is too flashy. You dont need to make it so dam flashy and try to make it look pro and nice, its a base for crying out loud.

 

Base 6 is like shark heaven. Too many big gaps big enough for any small rushing ship to slip thru (mainly shark).

 

All these new bases got thor proof room which is going over board. Its too unbalanced when the base is already hard to push thru and then they slap on a thor proof room just because its cool and all. It should be hard to push thru without thor proof room or not as hard but with thor proof room.

For center: everyone is packed into that little box. It's like fish in a barrel. All you do is get salvo jav or levi and thor the !@#$%^&* out of them. No fun at all. What happened to centering?

 

All of the old bases had one thing in common- balance. 5 and 4 have WAY too many bomblines and are WAY too good. The flag rooms are thor proof and it's almost impossible to get through them without repi!@#$%^&*ion of fields and bricks. Just count the number of bomblines and gunlines that are packed into them. Point proven. Also it needs variety, most of the time it's moving one bombline to second one. Base 5 has this KILLER bombline at the bottom left, near the end, which is impossible to get through if the enemy is set up. You can't even brick it, there is a fly through gfx that prevents it.

Sorry, Sharp..not saying your bases are bad, they're actually good..way too good. Needs balance, It's no fun attacking a base that gives defenders a supreme advantage and enemy has to buy fields and bricks over and over to get through it.

 

Base 2 and 6 are alright. They're both sorta balanced. Both have a moderate amount of bomblines filled with tunnels and gaps inbetween. A lot of the bomblines are just random holes and very minor. My recommendation would be to fill up some of them up. I would say keep the small gaps that allow sharks and javs to rush though. It keeps base 6 balanced. Overall these two bases are decent.

 

 

Again, just my opinion.

I think that base 2 has WAY to many shark shortcuts that can easily get past the enemy. I also think that base 4's flag room is way to hard to get to. 4 spiders spamming out that little door = gg. It took like 2 fields for the team I was on to get in...

 

I also think base 5 is too long, and too good. I like 6 because its not TOO good but its kinda bad (combaring it to the other bases)

 

PS: I think you should change EVERYTHING if you change some of the map

 

PS2: Theres a flaw in the west HT (tiles missing)

I see four relatively useless shark holes that buy the shark maybe ten seconds if he uses them all. In fact, one of those four actually slow the shark down. Sharks can rush any base faster than the rest of their team, and any good shark can easily get past the enemy in any base.

 

 

When I see sharks overpowering base two I will change it. As of now, games have been going well inside.

 

6 and 2 are way too beneficial to attackers

 

I've seen plenty of games in bases 2 and 6, both bases are balanced. I won a game with 3 other people on a pub freq against a few high exp players.

Ive made a base the tiles simple and wont hurt ur eyes blum.gif But i asked quigy about if u need any more bases and he said no.

so i thought that was the end of it,

Brain if u need anymore and wud like to have a look at my just message me in game or something blum.gif .

i disagree cause then if a team get killed many times by attack and gets mad, then that team can just thor the flagger to death... and if it works people will start doing it for every flaggame which is unfair

base 4 is WAY to good, it takes forever to get through either of the two front bomblines, and then its just drudgery to push through the rest of it.

 

base 5 is alright, maybe tone it down a little (acctually, yah, tone it down, maybe alot blum.gif )

 

i havnt played hardly any games in 2 or 6 (or the rest for that matter) cause everyone is basing in 4 and 5. i'd like to see some variety.

 

i agree that center should be reworked.

the aim of my bases (2,6) are to eliminate lame games that last 4 hours at one bombline, you can't do that with my bases it's too easy to attack

 

the reasoning is that it will take more skill to win, games will last longer, and a variety of bases will be used in one game (rather than 4 hours at the bombline in base 4)..

 

if i had things my way, all 7 bases will be easy to attack

yea if that happens the base isnt neutral, it'll just turn into a attacker's base, which is worse than defender's base cause then u cant even win a freakin flaggame mega_shok.gif

there needs to be balence tho, cause if its only geared toward attack then it gets boring to be defending, like there is no point. and also, you cant really get a good bty, which is something defending freqs look forward to.

agreed, people only like defending because of the bty, so if it's too much of attack base, then no one would ever use that base
