JDS Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 (edited) I had my first credit duel experience and i have to say winning 10million is quite nice (for glory and for the money) so xdoom, as a feature on your fancy bot, could you add a function that lets you credit give to the bot say !Cduel No_remorse:10000000 and then (if) no_remorse also did !Cduel jds:10000000 then the bot would take the credits and (you decide how it would work .. algorithms and bot programing is dificult for me) but in the end the winner would get the money from the bot and the loser would be a loser thoughts? No_Remorse Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 I like the idea of dueling for credits.... Because I never lose! muahah
Gibbit Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 (edited) I never lose big words -_- weasles at dawn fool Edited November 2, 2007 by Gibbit
XDOOM Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Well its possible - but i'd have to spawn off a duel bot for the dueling arena to keep track of who wins/losses. That is more effort - especially due to the fact that I may also have to keep track of many people wanting to do the same thing at the same time.
JDS Posted November 3, 2007 Author Report Posted November 3, 2007 well .. you could do it cheap ex: jds gives bot 10mill creditsxdoom gives bot 10mill credits after the duel we go back to pub and pm the bot who won then credits are given though you'd need a moderator to moderate this.. because it is an honor system (thats just a cheap way to do it with pub bot only)
ra$ta420 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 After watching over a 10m cred duel.In which a player would not give up the lost points ,than the player saying I stole his 49m cred . Jds made this topic b/c of this I am guessing.. this idea seems nice.
XDOOM Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 I've been thinking about this lately, There are problems - especialy if one player decides to give points to bot then the other player backs off ... there is a lot of little things like that to keep track of. I think for now, just have it as an honour system, use a staff member as a witness to the bet, and then if the player backs out after you win the duel, then the staff member can intervene. I'm going to lock this topic, but if somebody has an excellent idea, go ahead and start a new topic, referencing this idea.
