Ball spawn point

Your greens and flags will also spawn at center though

 

Unless you're using ASSS, you can probably tweak stuff as you want

Right... so you also need:

you can't make it spawn at exactly 512, 512 with subgame, only near the center.

 

with ASSS you can make it spawn exactly anywhere you want by changing Soccer::SpawnX and Soccer::SpawnY in the arena's settings.

Couldn't you get a bot to reset the ball in center or have the bot move it manually by stealing the ball and putting it in center and speccing again?

aha, you're right it's definitely possible with a bot, although I don't think ball mover will do quite what you want:

About:

This bot will pick up a ball that goes into a certain location and move it somewhere else(ballmover.ini for configuation). A player must be INSIDE the area and shot the ball inorder for the bot to know where the ball is. Shooting the ball outside of the area, into the area will not work becuase mervbot only knows the powerball's location when a player is carring it and where they shoot if from

I used to have a plugin that made the bot watch a certain area for the ball.

If the ball entered or was carried in, the bot would go in a ship, steal the ball from the carrier and put it in the specified coordinate.

 

However, for ball spawning you don't need to steal it, you only have to make the bot move the ball when it's going to spawn (after a goal or a soccer game reset).
