Yes, today is Oktober 26 and I just found out an important piece of news from a fellow player: Lid. He told me to enter Desert Storm to read the news and I found a great discovery!

 

Viligante has finally given away his ownership to someone else! Like...holy !@#$%^&* man....

 

Its a sad day in subspace as we will be saying goodbye to the owner of the current DS: Viligante since he will no longer be able to help DS grow magnificently to its current size and style of play.

 

I personally will be very sad to see him go since he has brought us many great things and moments in my subspace life...

 

But worry not my fellow subspace players! He will still be sysop in DS and give what ever help he can to DS....whatever he specializes in that I do not know

 

And now to tell you who the next owner is. His name is Phil...according to the news and he is Jericho24. Vili has made a great decision to give it to Jeri and one of the best decisions I have seen!

 

I am pretty sure Jeri is the perfect man for the job...or at least I hope he is...

Seeing how Vili have great faith and trust in Jeri's ability in the pass...I dont think we need to doubt any more!

 

Well, lets see how DS will grow and turn out in a few weeks. Thats all I have to say...for now =D

i opened this topic, hadnt read it, and i just got an email

After thinking a long time about the future of Desert Storm i decided to give ownership away to my good friend Phil a.k.a. Jericho24.

My personal life is taking to much of my time to manage a zone and leading the staff. However' date=' i will stay as Sysop for Desert Storm to help the zone grow.

There will be changes soon, but all is in the hands of Phil now. He will decide about the future of DS. I know Phil for many years now and i know he is capable of managing the zone and to make Desert Storm even more populated then it is now.

I have faith for the future and i want to wish Phil and staff all the best for the future. I will continue my help and will be online as much as i can.

 

I want to thank all the players and staff for their support all the years i owned Desert Storm. I would also like to thank Testtube and now Freakmonger for hosting my zone all those years on the SSCC server without any problems. I have lots of respect for those guys who are willing to spend their own money every month to keep the server alive.

He was, I remember when he was working on #jds. Good times jds, good times. But that was years ago...not anything recent root so I doubt you know anything about DS that has been years ago.

 

Btw.....practically a large chunk of ex-DSers has been staff some point seeing how staff members come and go like the wind.

 

Also !@#$%^&*onearth, it works both ways. If we cant say their names properly, they cant speak in english properly either that or they have such a heavy accent we wont know wtf they are saying =/
