In my opinion, absolutely re!@#$%^&*ed. I could cause as much damage with a pen or pencil, as I could with butter knife. Not to mention this is a 14 year old FRESHMAN GIRL.

Why don't they buy us all tablet PC's with stylus's so then even our writing utencil's dont need points (sarcasm), and While theyre at it, they better stop giving out utencils in the cafeteria. Oh and I think they should outlaw biology too because a student might sneak out with one of the scalpels for a dissection! OMG! AND GYM CLASSES! OMG THEY KEEP BASEBALL BATS IN CLOSETS NEAR THE LOCKER ROOMS! THOSE FRESHMAN GIRLS MIGHT WANNA BASH A TEACHERS HEAD IN!

seriously though... I could do so much worse with ordinary objects that are already at school.

What do you think?

That's just ridiculous... where is our world going...

lol... taken from the comments:

Ellsbells, I googled "show a picture of a butter knife." There were many hits, yet the first 2 showed actual pictures. In the first item, the butter knife was shown with a silver serving dish, the knife placed on the bottom piece, in front. It was the same length as the butter knives we have in our kitchen, reflecting one side of the head was serrated. In the second item, S Kirk and Sons photos showed two versions: Two of them showed the knives as you have described them, with a smaller handle and head than a table knife, with flat, rectangular heads showing no serrated edges. In the other 2 pictures, the knives were shown as smaller than a regular knife, yet the heads were shaped as a triangle, featuring a very sharp point; an easy instrument to use for plunging into someone's eye, or neck. I want to retract that I called you wrong: I found evidence that proved your description was correct. Yet at the same time I found evidence that my description was also correct: serrated edges and very sharp points.

Ellsbells being some guy he's arguing with... but notice how his search sucks lol. "show a picture of a butter knife."

I'm surprised he even got anything

Rofl i didnt notice that XD

But seriously even when they say the knife is serrated thats means like nothing. My butter knifes are serrated on one side and i guarantee the only way that could have an effect on a human is if i tied them down so their arm was immobile and sawed their arm for like 3 minutes lol. Seriously though, the threat of a knife is stabbing, not sawing, and you could stab with a pen as well as you could with a BUTTER knife.

hahaha you cant stab with a butter knife.. at all, that school is run on fear and usless protocol, ah well its not like i really care about her

I'm sure you could do far more damage with pencils and pens than you can butter knives. blum.gif Even worse, just being human people is a danger to society itself.

one of my brings a knife to school all the time and eats with it and i guess its probably a little more dangerous than a butter knife... but still there are tons of people carrying actual dangerous objects to school why don't they focus on that for now...
