What kind of processor are you using? (32bits, 64bits)

What OS?

Do you have a screenshot of the error? Is there anything else in the error message?

Intel Celeron processor

531 Mhz

and I cant make a screenshot but the Error message

its a small box with the Familiar Error graphic of a red circle with a white "X" in the middle

next to it is the sentence

Invalid Floating point operation

I can either click "OK" or bush the small "X" button on the top right of the box

either way the error message goes away and im back where I started

Hmmm...

just read someone had the same problem with another program:

http://www.earmaster.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=185

The problem solved by changing my windows xp visual theme.

It seems "someone" has installed a patched "uxtheme.dll" in "c:\windows\system32" in order to use unauthorized windows xp themes (*.theme/*.msstyles).

When I changed the active theme, the problem disappeared.

You could try changing the theme... if any

Also, try redownloading the setup file... Might be a corrupt file or something...

Currently googling to see what's causing the error...

You never got that error before? If you get it often, randomly, or for many programs, it's most likely a hardware problem... but if it happens with only this application... bleh

lol... emmm...

weird...

check the task manager (ctrl-alt-del) to see if something about continuum is in the process list

Maybe it's just stuck there...

Might try to reboot too

"these files"

Only issue. It seems whatever system file priit adds and registry edits he makes, fixes most the issues people have, so doing this will kill it for a lot. Underlord was the 1st to report his non working .39pr1 worked after running .39 Beta. So you may also want to add in an upgrade program just to do the edits his installer is doing to fix settings.

It actually wasn't me who made the .zip file. Someone on the TW forum requested "i'm on linux and getting 0.39 to run was hard enough, i can't run the 0.40 .exe. can someone just point me to a file repository so i can just download them manually?". So another user posted that, and it worked for him supposedly. I would assume this is the quickfix for all linux users, but could also be used for Windows users.

Whatever PriitK did, is nice and all, but a number of users have complained about the installer.

I'm also !@#$%^&*uming that Guest:Shuttlekilla's problem was resolved by my first post*, which seems to have been ignored this whole time by everyone. It was the first upload for 0.40 (on TW), and was compiled more properly than the new one. Everyone who had a problem with the installer said that this one actually worked, rather than the newer official installer.

*an !@#$%^&*umption, he didn't specify what was the fix.
