Pub Day/ Pickup Game

What happened to Pub day....they were always fun and made alot of moeny/exp for everyone...all the games now have been the same....

 

Other then that there should be pickup games....these should be hosted in another arena and people can be picked by 2 captains...no limits to teams...this is basically like pub day but picked teams and in another arena

 

 

p.s maybe there should be like...to win jp must be over like 200k or something

pu day was fun, i wish i played enaugh now a days to get through a whole base game

What happened? D1st0rt found out engineering isn't as easy as it used to be. That and no one has tried to fill in for him.

Captains are good because they make both teams even. For example, you can take two excellent players such as Okyo and Wallbomb and split them into two freqs to make sure one team does not get an edge over the other. Of course after picking the first 5 for both teams the rest could be randomized to save time.

 

And I agree with Domio. Masaru, Sharpflame, Rare, Boldot are all GREAT jrmods, but we need mods that have the time and are willing to host a flagging game.

 

Also, some of the rules for these pick-up games should be:

 

-usually hosted after a flag game (counts as an event)

-runs for a certain time (30minutes-2hours)

-held within another arena other then pub 0

-captains, teams locked after game starts

-if someone wants to enter, he/she must get another person to enter the game as a pair (one for freq 1 and one for freq 10)

 

..but it's alway harder to implement than it sounds.

pub flagging>pick up.

teams always manage to even out in time. last night 0 was winning almost the whole time but as they began to win, team 1 started whopin there arse. Unfortunately we(1) were knocking at there door when the fields showed there ugly heads and we didn't get there in time. in all, i think it was a pretty good pub game, best flagging ive had since reset.

i kina agree tho, we do need more mods that are willing to host events. Masaru does alot of amazing events every once in a while but no1 else seems to host often (or is it im just on at the wrong time?????). i remember sf used to host btywabit almost every other day before reset now i haven't played a game of it yet

well for pub flagging, u need like an even number of people w/ ad in each team, or else it will be hard to be even

I'll be trying to host pub games when I can, pop and if I'm there will dictate, though.
