cdrom Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 well it stops the gateglitching, all u have to do is go fast with wb or jav and hope the mines dont have prox(its easy when u go from ht to a base because of the speed boost) or use a ftl engine Quote

I realize that it was intended to promote the use of FTL drives, but all it's done is create noobish gatemining/farming tactics. It didn't create any additional incentive to get FTL drives because whoever can afford them gets them anyway. Quote

You would spawn at one of them randomly when travelling through a gate and this would give everyone a much better chance of getting through gates within being killed by lame miners. Quote
