»doc flabby Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Having ported the directory server to linux in less than a day it shouldnt be to hard to do merv-bot and any biller.http://forums.minegoboom.com/viewtopic.php?p=74575#74575 This would make alot more people consider ASSS I think for running servers and reduce costs for server owners (linux is cheaper), which can only be a good thing.
»D1st0rt Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 Merv has compiled under gcc since build 45
»doc flabby Posted October 2, 2007 Author Report Posted October 2, 2007 Merv has compiled under gcc since build 45does that mean it compiles natively on linux?the reason i ask is the directory server compiled under gcc on windows, but still didnt run on linux as it had windows api calls

»D1st0rt Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 I never meant to say it runs on linux (I think it uses winsock), but was just throwing it out there that you don't have to worry much, if at all about compiler issues
