Chug Chug Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 For some reason, after I downloaded the new version of SS, I had a problem. Whenever I open it, it says that it is refreshing zones. After a few seconds, it says that it could not finish because it is not currently available or I'm not connected to the internet. Is anyone else having trouble? Can someone help me? Are you my real father? .39 works fine though. kill3rkilo@yahoo.com if you got something for me. K, Thanks.

★ Maverick Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Check if your directory server list contains "sscentral.sscuservers.net, ssdir.playsubspace.com".Also make sure there isn't a firewall blocking the connection. If you want to be sure if it's your firewall or not, turn every firewall off (temporary) and try again. Check out your zone population statistics at stats.sshq.net! Chug Chug Posted October 4, 2007 Author Report Posted October 4, 2007 Everything is red. I've tried changing the directory and that doesn't help. I've removed and reinstalled serveral times too.

🜲 Samapico Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 Many people had this problem... Sigh... and .40 was supposed to fix stuff http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/88/Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg/120px-Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg.pngDCME co-developerSSCU 17th Parallel sysop
★ Maverick Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 I think a firewall is blocking the ports that Continuum need to update the zone list and connect to zones. Do a trace to Trench Wars (or any other zone you know that should have the correct address in your zone list) and see where it stops. Check out your zone population statistics at stats.sshq.net!
