Left_Eye Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Dear readers of this topic, I know I probably don't have any credibility with any or most of you. Let me just explain my purpose. I'm Left_Eye (Event Coordinator) for SSCU Trench Wars staff. Over time, I have realized a huge population decrease as the years go by. I'd like to help combat that, so during the past few weeks, I held a poster contest for anyone that wanted to make a poster that could be used for all zone staff/people if they wanted to help promote it. The winner link is here: Winning Poster. I hope there is really no criticism towards this idea. This is mainly population based. The populations of the zone must print it out and shovel it out at school/work/dorms or anywhere else for this idea to really go through. I'm not a marketing major, so if you have any idea how this could be achieved otherwise, I'm all ears. Well, I hope some of you help me with this. This is way too small for one person to shove to zone staff or help get people interested or motivated to do it. If it brings in a few people to any zones, this would have been a successful operation. Thank you for your time! If you have any questions, you can find me as Left_Eye in the game! Thank you again! Lots of love,Left_Eye
rootbear75 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 (edited) if you could make that into an actual poster, i would buy AND display it.... Edited September 16, 2007 by rootbear75
Hakaku Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 (edited) Gotta say, that's a pretty insane poster... that, along with the VIE poster. But for my printer? I wouldn't bother using it. Edited September 16, 2007 by Hakaku

Incomplete Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 I spoke to a model i know about handing CDs out with the poster, she'll do it cheap too. When I got everything sorted i'll get her to hand them out. P.S. Anyone want me to send them any posters?
Gravitron Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 I'm against Continuum. The game's name is SubSpace. And, Vint Cerf's willing, when a new better client is invented it'll still be SubSpace, and using continuum will look like a stupid move. Juan's VIE convention shirt-back (so called poster) which uses the default, high-quality, VIE ship models is by far more appealing to the eye from a PR perspective.A note need be added to rectify the link, as suggested, as well as appending the intial scripture portion from the shirt-front ("Meet people from all over the world...") to complete the sentence, and move the conclusion to the bottom, above the link.Perhaps http://get SUBSPACE .com
scuba steve Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 i need a 36"x48" for my plotter in my office
Incomplete Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Old dogs, new tricks, different toilet same !@#$%^&*, who cares, Continuum is the client to load subspace
scuba steve Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 i have never refered to ss as continuum.
