New commands for next Version

Well I lost my names + pws just recently, its very annoying. I can't be bothered to find the passwords to play anymore. Although MMav does have a point.

the reason i say this is because that my friend got his name stolen, and we had to go through all this trouble to get it back.

 

well, more that he put a bull!@#$%^&* email to begin with... but still....

 

or maybe a form you can submit to get your email changed....

well, at the moment, even if someone finds your password, he can steal your name, but only until you ?lostp!@#$%^&*word and get it back... If he could change the email, then you're doomed

ya, but some people register with bull!@#$%^&* emails.

 

There needs to be a password you set that is DIFFERENT than you profile password, that you can do ?setemail bleh@bleh.com:password

 

if there isnt a ?setemail command,

there needs to be a form that someone can use to go online and submit for the change

then a BanG op, goes in, leaves you a ?message on that name, to confirm that you want an email change.

possibly have a small countdown on it to prevent abusing it to escape being killed, or maybe have it give the kill to the last person who shot you.

Smokey, they have something similar to that in Counter Strike, where you can just type "kill" and you die, but it removes a kill and adds a death to your record, which might be a bit more do-able than a counter or giving a kill to someone who didn't kill you.

If you get hacked, then you're a !@#$%^&* bag and you probably deserved it. There needs to be a way to change the email. Not every person in the world uses the same email for 5+ years. It should take one week for the email change to go through, that way, if your name gets stolen, you have one week to realize it and get it back. This would, however, pretty much slaughter the idea of name-trading.
